Welcome to Edu-Play Early Learning Centre, the newest long daycare and kindergarten in Altona dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 2 and a half years and over. Our centre incorporates a funded kindergarten program into our kinder program, ensuring that children are well-prepared for their transition to primary school.
At Edu-Play Early Learning Centre, we understand the challenges that parents face in juggling work demands and childcare responsibilities. That's why we are open 52 weeks per year, from 7am to 6pm, to provide parents with the flexibility and support they need.
We believe that children thrive in a smaller, more intimate environment where they receive individualized attention and care. That's why we are committed to maintaining small class sizes and a low child-to-educator ratio. Research has shown that children in smaller kindergartens tend to develop stronger relationships with their educators, feel more secure, and are better able to engage in learning activities.
Unlike large kindergartens ran by national corporations, Edu-Play Early Learning Centre prioritizes a personalized approach to early childhood education. Our experienced educators are dedicated to getting to know each child on a personal level, understanding their unique needs and interests, and providing them with the support and encouragement they need to succeed.
We offer a range of learning opportunities, including music, art, language, and outdoor play, to ensure that children receive a well-rounded education that encompasses all areas of development. Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework, which promotes a play-based approach to learning that is tailored to each child's individual needs and interests.
Our beach kinder and city farm kinder programs provide children with the opportunity to learn and explore in natural outdoor settings. Through regular excursions to the beach or farm, children are able to engage with the environment around them, develop a sense of curiosity, and learn through hands-on experiences. These outdoor learning experiences promote physical activity, encourage a love for nature, and foster a sense of connection to the world around them. By spending time outdoors, children are able to develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills in a dynamic and engaging way.
